James Jean’s pen art illustrations

Hi-Fructose Vol. 15 cover artist James Jean will debut a solo show at New York’s Tilton Gallery on January 9 titled “Parallel Lives.”
The new body of work showcases Jean’s varied abilities as a painter and draughtsman. Large-scale paintings filled with heavy line-work brim with copious details that focus on animals, plant forms and imagery inspired by traditional Asian art and architecture.
